Welcome back to the most missed sports column on Associated Content! That’s right, my friends. It’s time for the NFL week 1 edition of Zac’s Backs. I don’t know about all of you but I’ve certainly missed NFL football. The preseason is a nice tease but I’m ready for the real deal. It also doesn’t help that both the Cleveland Indians and New York Mets are ridiculously terrible. For me, the Major League Baseball season ended in June.
Enough talk about baseball. It’s football season and the season begins in two days. Here are my picks for week one of the 2009 Cheap NFL Jerseys NFL season.
When the NFL on NBC returned to us, the tradition of the reigning Super Bowl champs playing on Thursday night began. This continues when the Steelers host the Titans this Thursday evening. The stupidity of the sacredness of the Terrible Towel aside, there is a fun little rivalry brewing between these two teams. For reasons that I can’t explain, I like Atlanta to win this one by double digits. Carson Palmer returns to an NFL regular season game and the Bengals are at home playing against a train wreck. I would love nothing more than to see the Cleveland defense absolutely crush Hollywood Brett Favre. I’d also like to be given $10 million, a house on Lake Las Vegas and for the Catholic Church to not be a huge pain when I’m trying to plan my wedding. Those things aren’t going to happen, either.
Anybody who has read my NFL picks in the past years knows how much I love Peyton Manning. "Man Crush" just begins to explain it. With that said, I really do think Manning is going to have an incredible season in 2009. The doubters are already beginning to claim that the window for Manning winning another Super Bowl has closed. That’s just what Peyton Manning needs. Motivation. Go with Indy.

One thing I’m going to talk about in my upcoming New York Giants preview (look for it later this week) is that the Dallas Cowboys really do worry me. The reason? NFL experts/journalists are ignoring them. When you talk about the NFC East, you talk about Vick and the Eagles or the Burress less Giants. Meanwhile, Dallas has a young, hungry and often scrutinized quarterback with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. The Ravens also have a great defense. It’s times like these I cry as a Cleveland Browns fan. No upset here.

Casey Stoner calls it quits on V8 Supercars to take a break from motorsport
Two time world motorcycling champion Stoner, who has been racing in the second tier V8 series this year for Red Bull Racing, says he will end his brief flirtation with car racing at the end of the season.
The most likely scenario is Stoner will take 12 months off, and any return to the sport in which he won two world championships before his shock retirement last year would have to wait until at least 2015.
"I will probably do some car racing here and there in different times," Stoner told a function in Brisbane on Friday as he made it clear his brief fulltime V8 career was coming to an end.

Stoner has struggled for most of Johnny Manziel Kids Jersey the year to handle the transition from two wheels to four.

Police charged 23 year old Steven A. Strecker, of 8 Fort St., with second degree rape, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. The arrests stem from allegations that Strecker had sex with a 14 year old girl in the summer of 2013.
Police said that a concerned family member submitted a complaint to the police on May 16. Police said that the girl and Strecker both lived in the same neighborhood at the time, which is not www.nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Brandon-Marshall-Jersey.html the case now.
Police said that although the alleged sexual act was consensual, the girl was unable to legally consent because of her age. Strecker is not charged with forcing himself upon the girl, police said. Strecker was invited to the station to tell his side of the story, and the Auburn man responded with a letter from his attorney, Douglas Bates, requesting for police to not speak with his client, police said.
Strecker was arraigned in Auburn City Court and remanded to Cayuga County Jail on $5,000 nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Matt-Forte-Jersey.html cash bail, $10,000 bond.
Police said Stecker Lance Briggs Navy Jersey is currently on probation for a conviction stemming from 2011 for attempted dissemination of indecent material to a minor.
Strecker was also recently released on bail from the county jail after having been arrested in February on charges of second degree strangulation and harassment stemming from an alleged domestic incident. Those charges are still pending in court.
